Overview
East West Bank (EWB) is seeking a Credit Analyst in the Commercial Real Estate Group of the Dallas Office. The Credit Analyst will evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with EWB.
Responsibilities
Able to demonstrate moderate to superior skills in financial statement spreading and the evaluation of budgets and projections.
Support Relationship Manager / Portfolio Manager in evaluating, recommending, managing bank loans and other forms of bank credit.
Apply the Bank's credit policy and procedures.
Stay current on underwriting practices of the Bank.
Assist in accurately risk-rating loans/credits.
Assist in evaluating numerous transaction types across a broad array of commercial asset classes, including pulling Co-Star reporting as needed
Perform Quarterly DSCR testing.
Facilitate in developing problem loan credit solutions.
Assist with portfolio management, Loan Monitoring and updating ONTRACK Reports in compliance with C&I and CRE Desktop Procedures
Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with the applicable concentration in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Communications with equivalent experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $25.00/Hr. - USD $35.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
