Credit & Collection Analyst ITonawanda, NY, United States | req31276What you will enjoy doing*You review all open balances daily and work directly with customers to resolve payment issues, encouraging timely payment while maintaining positive relationshipsYou partner with internal teams to resolve process issues that may prevent customers from paying Linde as agreedYou perform daily activities to ensure all credit procedures, internal controls, and policies are followed and maintainedYou meet or exceed assigned individual and portfolio performance goals while maintaining strong resultsAdditionally, monitor portfolio risk and elevate issues as needed to protect the businessFurthermore, create and run AR analysis reports to support the monitoring and collection of receivablesYou maintain professional relationships with sales and billing teams to resolve disputes and correct errors efficientlyLastly, review customer payment terms regularly, recommend changes, elevate when necessary, and meet deadlines while working extended hours as neededWhat makes you greatYou hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (preferred)You bring at least one (1) year of experience in logistics, procurement, or accounting, or have external experience in accounts receivable or collectionsYou demonstrate strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft ExcelYou maintain a high level of attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skillsAdditionally, experience reading and interpreting legal contract language is considered a plusFurthermore, demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills when working with internal and external partnersYou independently prioritize competing tasks and stay self-motivated in a fast-paced environmentLastly, experience with JD Edwards is a plusBenefits and CompensationLinde offers competitive compensation and an outstanding benefits package.
