Position Summary

The Credit & Collection Analyst (Temporary) provides administrative and operational support to the Credit & Collections team during a leave of absence. This position supports recovery, bankruptcy, and credit reporting activities while ensuring accurate documentation, system updates, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and experienced in credit union or financial institution collections operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for credit and collection activities
  • Assist with repossession, recovery, bankruptcy, and credit reporting processes
  • Maintain accurate account documentation and records
  • Support collection operations through data entry, auditing, and reporting
  • Communicate with internal departments and external partners as needed
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Perform additional collection‑related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • Prior experience in collections, recovery, repossessions, bankruptcy, and credit reporting
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Systems Experience

  • Fiserv DNA (preferred)
  • Temenos Collections Platform (preferred)

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a large credit union environment while supporting a critical team during a temporary staffing need. The role offers consistent hours, an established work structure, and potential for extended placement.

Location: Glendale, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend up to 6 months)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $22-$25/hour
Parking: Included
