We are currently hiring for an experienced CREDIT MANAGER to oversee the company’s credit and collections operations. This role is responsible for managing the company’s credit policies, customer credit approvals, collections, and risk exposure while supporting customer relationships and sales growth with responsible credit policies. This is a direct hire position with full benefits, $90K-$120K depending on experience. 
 
Responsibilities
 
Credit Management (Key Task)
  • Evaluate customers’ creditworthiness (financial statements & credit reports, References by others)
  • Set and manage credit limit and payment terms
  • Approve or decline credit application
Accounts Receivable & Collections
  • Manage accounts receivable aging and collections.
  • Ensure follow up with customers on overdue invoices.
  • Work with sales teams to resolve credit and payment issues.
  • Negotiate payment plans and manage delinquent accounts.
  • Coordinate with sales staff on high-risk or large credit accounts.
Reporting & Financial Oversight
  • Prepare credit risk reports for management
  • Track daily sales outstanding and other KPIs
  • Produce weekly/monthly AR aging and credit exposure reports.
  • Analyze payment trends and identify risk accounts.
  • Assist management with cash flow forecasting related to receivables.
Team Management
  • Supervise AR staff
  • Improve collection procedures and credit policies.
  • Implement best practices for credit risk management.
  • Establish and monitor credit limits and payment terms.
  • Evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and trade references.
  • Maintain credit files and ensure compliance with company policies.
Cross Department Coordination
  • Work closely with sales, finance, and accounting teams
  • Support sales by balancing growth and risk
 
Qualifications
  • Ideally 3-5+ years’ experience in credit, accounts receivable, or credit management.
  • Experience in electrical and plumbing supply distribution a plus.
  • Experience managing credit accounts
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is mandated
 
Salary range is $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 commensurate with experience with full company benefits
