LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a downtown law firm in Pittsburgh in search of a paralegal to support the Bankruptcy and Creditors Rights attorneys. This law firm offers work life balance and competitive pay based on experience. The ideal candidate has prior experience within a law firm setting supporting either foreclosures, tax, bankruptcy, debt collection or another related practice area.
Responsibilities:
Prepare legal documents for attorneys - objections, proof of claims etc.
Review bankruptcy petitions, motions for relief from stay, motions to sell real estate, fee notices, payment change notices, transfer of claims, dismissal and discharge orders.
e-File pleadings and research in PACER.
Work with clients, debtors and the trustee's office tracking and communicating status on all matters.
Qualifications:
Paralegal certificate is preferred not required
Excellent communication skills
High attention to detail
Trustworthy and ethical
Client service oriented
Experience with PACER is preferred
