Who We Are
Sook Pastry is a beloved French bakery in downtown Ridgewood (2026 Best of Bergen winner). We've been serving beautiful pastries and caf favorites since 2011, and we're looking for a quick, confident cook to run our crepe station.
What You'll Do
- Cook sweet & savory cr pes to order during busy shifts
- Keep your station fast, clean, and organized
- Interact with customers at the cr pe counter
- Help with light prep and occasional front-of-house support
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role. Think breakfast diner meets cafe you need to move quickly and stay calm under pressure.
Who You Are
- Experience cooking on the line (short order, fast-casual, cafe kitchens)
- Barista experience strongly preferred (espresso, latte art, cafe operations)
- Available nights and weekends (our busiest times)
- Calm under pressure and good with customers who keeps a clean station and communicates well
Team playerNo crepe experience? No problem. We'll train you. But you need to know how to work fast and handle the heat.
