Job Summary The Crew Lead – Structured Cabling is the on-site supervisor and coordinator for voice and data installation projects. This role ensures job completion in accordance with company and customer quality and safety standards while maintaining crew efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
Work Environment Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor construction environments, travel within branch or regional territory as needed, and work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces. Must be able to stand and walk large jobsites regularly. Regular attendance is mandatory.
Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, move up to 75 pounds, distinguish colors, read small print, and recognize audible signals such as dial tones.
Qualifications
Required Tools Screwdriver (flathead and Phillips), drywall saw, torpedo level, tape measure, snips with belt sheath, needle nose and channel lock pliers, hammer, cable stripper, flashlight, gloves, punch tool with 110 and 66 block blades, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX tool, butt set, volt-ohmmeter, 4-pair continuity tester, and 5-gang punch tool.
