Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday (6:30a - 5:00p) “or” Tuesday - Friday (6:30a-5:00p)
This schedule is subject to change during a holiday week or for emergency service which may require working a flexible schedule with little or no notice and may include weekends, nights, or holidays. This employee will be assigned to the snow and ice removal program and will be subject to working 12-hour shifts during winter or other weather-related events.

The City of Greensboro is seeking a Crew Leader to lead a small field crew responsible for asphalt installation, pavement repairs, utility cuts, and pothole repairs on public streets and City property. As a Crew Leader, you'll lead a two-person field crew responsible for repairing potholes, pavement failures, and utility cuts while helping maintain the City's transportation infrastructure.
This is a working supervisor position. You'll spend your time in the field alongside your crew while also planning, organizing, coordinating, and reporting on assigned projects.

About the Role:
The Crew Leader is a working supervisor responsible for leading a small crew of approximately two employees in construction and maintenance activities.
You will report to a Section Supervisor and be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and reporting assigned work in support of the overall Field Operations work plan.
