CREW LEADER – LANDSCAPE OPERATIONS

We're seeking a reliable, hands-on
Crew Leader to lead field teams in delivering high-quality landscaping services. You’ll manage daily operations, support your team, maintain customer satisfaction, and ensure the job is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

What You'll Be Doing
Crew & Jobsite Leadership
- Plan daily workloads and prepare tools and materials in advance.
- Assign tasks to team members and ensure high-quality, timely completion.
- Enforce company standards, safety protocols, and crew expectations.
- Train team members using company processes and training programs.
- Cross-train and develop future leaders within your crew.
- Provide direction and support to crew members throughout the workday.
Customer Interaction
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance on site and in company uniform.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients and address their needs or concerns professionally.
- Proactively communicate customer concerns, site conditions, and updates to management.
- Help identify safety risks or site issues and communicate them to management.
Quality, Safety & Brand Excellence
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work is completed to company and customer standards.
- Maintain daily punch lists to manage job quality and priorities.
- Ensure all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and tailgate meetings are followed.
- Keep crew vehicles, trailers, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
Equipment Oversight
- Monitor equipment condition and follow maintenance and inventory schedules.
- Complete required vehicle, trailer, and equipment inspections and reports.
- Ensure proper use and care of company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete required forms and daily logs, including LMRs, spray requests, and accident reports.
- Help organize and implement daily work schedules.
- Report irrigation issues, equipment problems, and needed repairs to management.
- Assist with crew performance reviews and tracking team goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the landscape industry or grounds maintenance.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish – required.
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to operate and safely use landscaping equipment, including mowers, blowers, trimmers, and other hand tools.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid state driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to read schedules, safety procedures, and follow written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
