This position contributes to the success of Cattle Dog Coffee Roasters by delivering legendary customer service and creating an exceptional experience for every guest. Our team members provide prompt, friendly service; prepare quality beverages and food items; and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment. Every action reflects CDCR’s values, culture, and guiding principles.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Service

• Deliver legendary customer service with a customercomesfirst attitude.

• Connect with guests, anticipate needs, and respond with genuine hospitality.

• Maintain a calm, positive demeanor during highvolume periods or unexpected events.

• Create a welcoming “Third Place” environment for customers throughout the shift.

Teamwork & Communication

• Act with integrity, honesty, and professionalism at all times.

• Work efficiently in a fastpaced team environment with a strong sense of urgency.

• Communicate clearly with managers and team members to support smooth operations.

• Assist with training new associates by reinforcing positive performance and offering respectful, encouraging coaching.

• Recognize changes in team morale or performance and communicate them to management.

Operations & Standards

• Follow all CDCR operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety, and security.

• Maintain a clean, organized workspace so team members can easily locate tools, ingredients, and supplies.

• Prepare quality beverages, whole bean coffee, and food items consistently by following all recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.

• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and food safety regulations.

• Support store operations including stocking, cleaning, food prep, and general café upkeep.

Professionalism & Reliability

• Demonstrate punctuality and maintain regular attendance.

• Reinforce individual and team accomplishments using established recognition methods.

• Uphold CDCR’s mission, values, and culture through daily actions and interactions.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fastpaced environment.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Food service or barista experience is a plus, but not required.

• Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a teamfocused environment.

• 18 years old or above
