you are the face of our store. You will create smooth, super-premium ice cream treats, entertain guests with mix-in creations on the frozen granite stone, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile. Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service & Hospitality
Welcome every guest warmly upon entry with enthusiasm.
Assist customers in navigating the menu, offering product recommendations, and providing samples.
Provide fast, friendly, and memorable service in line with Cold Stone standards.
2. Product Preparation & Presentation
Hand-craft customized ice cream creations on the granite stone using mix-ins, waffle cones, cakes, and shakes.
Maintain portion control and presentation standards for all ice cream tubs, cones, sundaes, and beverages.
Participate in fun store traditions (e.g., singing for tips) to enhance the guest experience.
3. Register & Cash Handling
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) cash register accurately.
Handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions responsibly.
Process mobile orders, third-party delivery orders, and cake pickup requests.
4. Store Operations & Maintenance
Keep the serving line, granite stone, mix-in wells, seating area, and restrooms clean, sanitized, and fully stocked.
Wash dishes, sanitize utensils, and maintain food safety guidelines (FIFO, temperature logs, hygiene).
Assist with opening or closing duties, including restocking freezer displays, prepping waffle cones, and disposing of trash.
Qualifications & Skills
Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old (varies by location regulations).
Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills; team player mentality.
Work Ethic: Strong attendance, punctuality, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, scoop hard ice cream, bend, lift up to 30–50 lbs, and work on your feet for extended periods.
Availability: Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Certifications: Food Handler Card / Safety Certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire per local regulations).
