Job Overview A law firm seeks an entry-level Criminal Defense Associate Attorney in Sacramento, CA. The attorney will manage a caseload involving serious felony and federal cases, report to the Supervising Attorney, and collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals.Responsibilities Advise clients on legal rights and draft legal documents.Attend pretrial hearings and advise clients on strategies.Manage court appearances, trials, and draft motions.Interview witnesses and perform legal research.Analyze case outcomes using legal precedents.Provide legal analysis to determine case benefits.Accrue evidence to support client cases.Prepare clients for testimony and gather supporting information.Requirements 7 to 15 years of criminal defense experience.Trial experience is highly preferred.Experience with complex criminal cases at all levels.Team player open to collaboration.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Exceptional interpersonal skills.Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Certifications Admitted to practice law in California.Skills Strong legal research and writing skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Paid parking.Paid time off.#J-18808-Ljbffr
