Criminal Investigator, District Attorney (Part-Time)
The Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office is currently seeking applications for Criminal Investigator, District Attorney (Part-Time).
Salary Range: $34.28 - $34.73 per hour
Minimum Qualifications:
(A.) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or
university with an associate’s degree in criminal justice, criminology or police science or a closely related field and two years of experience in criminal investigations; OR
(B.) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and four years of experience in criminal investigations; OR
(C.) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Appointees will be required to possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State or otherwise demonstrate their ability to meet the transportation needs of the job.
