About our Program
CSU: Is a 23hr 59min unit for youth placed on a 5150 hold that require Intensive stabilization. The goal is to divert youth from more extended psychiatric hospital stays.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm weekends, holidays, after hours as needed to support crisis.
Overview:Oversees a program that provides 24/7 crisis response and stabilization services to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. With general direction, manages multiple clinical programs overseeing the clinical staff and operations in the region. Ensures that individuals and families receive the most effective, efficient, and culturally appropriate services. Collaborates with the Executive Director regarding agency-wide initiatives, annual priorities, and continuous quality improvement efforts. Oversees program design and budgeting to ensure compliance with fiscal and contract obligations of programs. Interfaces with external community partners, agencies, and county departments. Ensures that the daily operations run smoothly, operating within compliance and safety policies, standards, and regulations. May require special certifications in some counties and programs.
