Job Description:

Position Summary: The Crisis Intervention Specialist at Bozeman Health Behavioral Health provides patient-centered, trauma-informed, urgent and emergent behavioral health (mental health and addictions) services in adult and pediatric emergency settings across the health continuum. This position is for licensed clinical professionals.Minimum Qualifications:Master degree in Social Work or other comparable clinical Master degree programLicensed as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of MontanaAmerican Heart Association BLSPreferred: MHPP eligiblePreferred: 3-5 years of experience in Crisis Intervention, Psychiatric Emergencies, Safety Planning, and/or Level of Care PlacementEssential Job Functions:In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.Key services include but are not limited to: brief psychosocial assessment, brief drug and alcohol assessment, crisis intervention, hold assessment, inpatient diversion, care coordination and communication with medical team, family, referents, access community-based providers, and transitions of care/ discharge planning. Job tasks may involve handling cleaning products, disinfectants, and other substances. Infectious diseases are caused by contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses. **Facility reserves the right to cancel three (3) shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances. Traveler must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered- Do not submit a candidate if they do not meet this requirement.
