What We're Looking For:
Santé is seeking a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Specialist who will be responsible for all aspects of conducting the CIT Program which involves and act as the link amongst behavioral health providers, consumers, and law enforcement, in Elkton, Maryland.
The CIT Coordinator for Eastern Shore Crisis Response Services is hired for our regional program. While the primary workplace may be closest to the individual's home, work assignments could be in any of the shore's current locations (Cambridge, Chestertown, Elkton, and Salisbury). As we operate as a 365 day per year service, CIT Coordinator's must be available for day, evening, weekend and holiday trainings/meetings, as scheduled. While every effort may be made to create a schedule that meets the individual staff person's needs, the schedule is created first and foremost to meet the needs of the program.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for the coordination of the CIT program in assigned area.
Coordinate and conduct Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training for all levels of Law Enforcement including:
Patrol Officers/Deputies
School Resource Officers
911 Operators and other Communications Personnel
Detention Officers
Probation & Parole agents
Responsible for the quality assurance process for the CIT program.
Participate in all mandatory trainings
Check work e-mail according to agency protocol
Other duties as assigned
