Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:

ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any) References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - must have left in good status, if former employee. Must have a vehicle for this assignment.

Unit Details: Adolescent and adult patient population. Critical access Level III trauma facility. Patient population includes CHF, diabetes, sepsis, pneumonia, and post-op orthopedic, OBGYN, and general surgery patients. They do not always have ICU patients, and they generally have 2 ICU nurses scheduled. It is common for ICU staff to frequently care for Med/Surg patients, and they will work Med/Surg the majority of their shifts; ICU patients are rare. Vents are managed by Respiratory Care. Expected ratios: 1:1-2 in ICU; 1:4-5 when floating to Med/Surg.

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: May float to Med/Surg units if no ICU patients. May be required to float to other units and facilities within Providence Health & Services based on skill set, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent. If floating consecutive shifts to Seaside, hotel is provided. Facility will give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
