Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• 12 months of travel experience is preferred.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: CRRT not required. Balloon pump not required. VAS not required.
Special Requests: RTO greater than 7 days requires approval. Parking costs $125/month.
Unit Details: Travel RN functions as a generalist. No specialty is required. Adult and geriatric patient population. Service lines include MICU, CTICU, SICU, CICU, and NICU.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift may be 3x12 or 4x12. Every other weekend. No call.
Floating Requirements: Travelers will float among 5 ICU specialties and step-down units across Yale New Haven Hospital’s York Street Campus and Saint Raphael Campus, which are 2 blocks apart and share a parking lot; a shuttle is provided if needed, and floating to step-down as needed includes a pulmonary step-down unit with a 1:3 ratio.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
