Job Summary:

ICC Healthcare (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist to join the Trident Health System in Charleston, South Carolina.
Qualified Candidates:

  • Critical CareBoard certified or eligible - most critical care specialties will be considered
  • Active South Carolina Licensure or ability to obtain
  • Ability to work Full Time
  • Available 2026
  • Schedule Structure, 15 shifts per month:
    • Core coverage at primary facility (Trident Medical Center)
      • 12‑hour shifts across both days and nights
    • Shared campus coverage supporting affiliated campus  (Summerville Medical Center)
      • ICU rounding and clinical support of the 24/7 APP. 2-3 hours of on site at Summerville and night on‑call responsibilities on assigned coverage days approximately 5 shifts per month
  • Trident Medical Center: 28 bed Med/Surg, CVICU, and Trauma ICU
    • 2 MDs during the day, 1 MD  and 1 APP at night
  • Summerville Medical Center: 12 bed Medical ICU
    • 24/7 APP coverage in house
    • MD coverage during the day and night call from home
  • Clinical teaching opportunity with Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine residents
