Key Responsibilities: 

• Work Schedule: 100% ICU position (currently 7 days on/7 days off with flexible scheduling arrangements)
• Provide expert diagnosis, treatment and management for ICU patients including cardiac, trauma, medical and surgical patients.
• Perform all critical care procedures including POCUS, intubation, thoracentesis, paracentesis, LPs and life support access catheters.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations and end of life/goals of care discussions.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and medical history.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient encounters, treatment plans, procedures and follow-up recommendations accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.

Education Requirements: 

• MD or DO
• BC/BE in Critical Care Medicine
