    Description

    Join a top-tier ICU team managing advanced heart failure patients, including those with LVADs, ECMO, and post-transplant recovery. Use your AGACNP skills in a fast-paced cardiac critical care setting with supportive leadership and excellent benefits.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Assess, triage, and manage patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
    • Obtain medical histories, perform exams, and order/interpret diagnostic tests
    • Perform advanced procedures: arterial/central lines, pulmonary artery catheter, intubation, chest tube removal, thoracentesis
    • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and update care plans
    • Maintain and improve clinical protocols; ensure compliance with regulations
    • Educate patients and families on care and resources
    • Support quality improvement and safety initiatives
    • Mentor and train
    • Engage in professional development and continuing education
    • Perform additional duties as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Texas APRN license + AGACNP certification

    • 2+ years critical care or cardiac ICU experience (RN or NP)

    • Experience with LVADs, ECMO, heart transplant, or post-op cardiac care

    • Current BLS & ACLS certifications

    Shift: Nights, 3'12s (paid for 40 hours), rotating weekends/holidays, no call
