Position available at Charleston Area Medical Center, Inc. in Charleston, WV: Provide clinical care services to patients and provide clinical supervision and teaching. The clinical care will be in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Critical Care Medicine. The physician will treat adult patients (18 years or older). The teaching duties will be in a clinical setting during patient rounds at the hospital and in a classroom. The physician will educate Medical Students, Residents, Fellows, and Advance Practice Providers during patient rounds, guiding and mentoring them. Teaching will also be conducted in a classroom with didactics and simulation training. Duties also include advising and providing input on course curriculum for our Critical Care Medicine Fellowship. Requirements: MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent degree. Completion of Residency in Internal Medicine. Completion of Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. Full and unrestricted West Virginia Medical License at the time of employment.
