Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in line with departmental needs and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with healthcare providers and team members, the RN offers personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s mission and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

  • Executes procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of care in patient records.
  • Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, simplifying complex medical terms for better understanding.
  • Instructs patients and families on non-medical follow-up actions, such as healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and self-management strategies.
  • Implements evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to surpass quality benchmarks and enhance patient care.
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the quality of care through the coordination, evaluation, customization, and delivery of holistic treatment plans that foster recovery.
Qualifications Required:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be completed within 90 days of starting employment.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
  • An Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma is necessary.
