A veterinary specialty practice is seeking a Critical Care Veterinarian to join its collaborative clinical team. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage critically ill and hospitalized patients.

• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans for emergency and critical care cases.

• Perform advanced medical procedures and monitor patient progress.

• Collaborate with specialists, emergency clinicians, and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.

• Communicate treatment recommendations, prognoses, and care plans with clients and referring veterinarians.

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

• Participate in case discussions, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Uphold the highest standards of medical quality, patient safety, and client service.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

• Board certification or board eligibility in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.

• Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
