Job Summary
Client is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer / Critical Facility Architect to lead the design and implementation of critical facility power systems supporting IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for data centers, communication rooms, and critical facilities.
- Design and oversee generators, backup batteries, power boards, and 48VDC systems.
- Develop power system architectures, technical designs, specifications, and standards.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering and project teams.
- Manage project requirements, budgets, and implementation.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and other architecture teams.
- Mentor team members and support process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of IT engineering design experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years.
- Experience with enterprise technology and architecture environments.
- Registered Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) preferred.
- Experience with radio systems and project management preferred.
- Leadership experience required; PMP certification is a plus.
Compensation:
The annual starting salary for this position is between $155,000.00 – 210,000.00annually.
