Job Summary
- The Developer, CRM Applications develops and implements enhancements and custom solutions to BrightView's Salesforce CRM platform. This position works closely with the CRM technical team to improve the health and ease of use of Salesforce CRM, and has extensive knowledge of APEX, Visual Force, DML, SOQL, and other salesforce-related tools. The Application Developer, CRM also creates technical documentation and possesses familiarity with development methodologies and change management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
- Create timelines and development goals.
- Test the stability and functionality of the application.
- Troubleshoot and fixing bugs
- Write documents and provide technical training
- Maintain the security and integrity of the application
- Create technical documentation, development methodologies, and change management.
- Provide solutions to multiple levels of the organization from end-users and senior leaders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a software development role in an enterprise setting
- Experience developing customer-facing interfaces
- Certified Platform Developer I, Field Service Consultant
- Extensive experience with software development technologies and environments including Lightning Component, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, DML, Flow, Process Builder and Workflow
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms (SalesCloud, Communities, ServiceCloud)
- Experience with Salesforce Mobile App Customization
- Familiarity with implementing and consuming technologies to integrate applications including RESTful and SOAP APIs, JavaScript, JSON, XML, CSV, etc.
- Nice to have - MuleSoft or related integration technology
- Experience collaboratively using version control systems (Copado, Git, Bitbucket)
- Well-versed in different development methodologies - Agile, Waterfall
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Ability to influence the opinions and approach of business and IT team members
Physical Demands/Requirements:
- Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers/copiers.
- Position is sedentary; must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of time
- Operates in an office environment and requires in-person presence
- Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur
