Vista Staffing is seeking a CRNA Anesthesia for a job in Skowhegan, Maine.
• Full-time and permanent CRNA position
• Monday-Friday schedule with no call requirements
• Work independently with the support of an on-site anesthesiologist if needed
• Administer and manage anesthesia for various types of surgeries and medical procedures
• Conduct pre-operative assessments of patients, including reviewing medical histories and determining appropriate anesthesia plans
• Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall well-being during surgery
• Respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies related to anesthesia
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients
• Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patient recovery
• Meditech EMR
• 3 OR suites, endoscopy suite and OB unit, surgical specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, OB/GYN and children over 2 years of age
• Must be proficient in endoscopies and labor epidurals
• Requires a minimum of two years of practice experience
• Requires current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
• Licensed to practice as a CRNA in the state of Maine
• Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations calmly and efficiently
