Job Details:
- 13-week contract with options to extend
- Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week or three 12-13 hour shifts per week, plus one rotating Saturday per month with no call required
- Weekly availability required; preference given to providers who do not rotate weeks on/weeks off
- All time off requests must be made upfront and approved prior to acceptance; time off requests exceeding 5 consecutive days will not be approved during summer months
- Patient population ranges from age 13 to end of life
- Level 1 trauma center environment supporting 33 main ORs, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3-4 stand-alone GI center rooms
- Practice settings include inpatient and outpatient locations such as the main OR, outpatient surgery center, and endoscopy center
- EMR system used is Epic
- Hospital bed size is 600
- All CRNA scopes of practice required; cases excluded include open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and performing peripheral nerve blocks
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required; academic background and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred
- One year of Academic Medical Center or Level 1 trauma center experience required; experience with ASA 3+ patients preferred
- Board certification required
- Active Virginia license required
- ACLS and BLS certifications must be valid and completed through the AHA
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Two professional references or reference contact information must be provided with submittal
