8-hour shifts with a 6-month locum-to-perm conversion timeline
Work in a supervised setting using Meditech Expanse documentation system/EMR
Average of 3-5 surgical cases per day in the Main OR and 12-15 cases per day in Endoscopy
9 operating rooms in the Main OR and 5 Endoscopy rooms available
Level 3 Trauma designation facility with a collaborative OR staff
Procedures required include general surgical cases for adult and pediatric patients, IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, obstetrical cases, and neurosurgical cases
Weekend availability is a possibility
Board Certification (AANA) required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Active Massachusetts state license or willingness to obtain required
Minimum of 2 years of experience highly preferred; new graduates also considered
A Self-Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation and must be pulled within the same month as submission
