Job Details:

• 8-hour shifts with locum-to-perm conversion option
• 
  
• Work in a supervised setting alongside collaborative OR staff
• 
  
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
• 
  
• Average of 3-5 surgical cases per day in Main OR and 12-15 cases per day in Endoscopy
• 
  
• 9 operating rooms in Main OR and 5 Endoscopy rooms
• 
  
• Practice settings include Main OR and Endoscopy
• 
  
• Procedures include: General Surgical Cases (Adult and Pediatric), IV Regional Anesthesia, Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Obstetrical Cases, and Neurosurgical Cases
• 
  
• Weekend availability may be required
• 
  
• Board Certification (AANA) required
• 
  
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Active Massachusetts state license or willingness to obtain required
• 
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience highly preferred

This facility is a comprehensive acute care hospital serving as a regional medical center for western Massachusetts. It provides a broad range of medical and surgical services, including a Level 3 Trauma designation, and operates a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The facility supports both Main OR and Endoscopy procedural settings, offering providers exposure to a diverse and dynamic patient population.
