    Description

    Opportunity:

    CRNA - Locums CRNA/AA

    Job Details:

    • Provide anesthesia services in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center

    • Shifts available in 8, 10, and 12-hour increments

    • Monday through Friday scheduling with 10 and 12-hour shift options

    • Provide top-notch clinical care in a hospital-based setting

    • Cover call as needed (optional)

    • Collaborate with clinical staff and attending physicians in a care team model

    • Maintain excellence in standard of care for patients

    • CRNAs have a broad scope of practice and typically perform their own spinals

    • Anesthesia services provided in operating rooms as well as endoscopy, electrophysiology labs, interventional radiology, MRI, and obstetrics

    • Begin with straightforward cases with progression to more complex cases over time

    • Patient population is adult

    • Charting via EMR system

    • Current state medical license or ability to obtain licensure required

    • Board certification required

    • Degree from an accredited training program required

    Facility:

    This facility is a large 500-bed hospital serving as a Level 1 Trauma Center offering a comprehensive range of medical services. The facility includes one of the top cardiac care centers in Central Virginia, a dedicated mental health and wellness pavilion, and multiple operating rooms across several floors. Anesthesia services extend throughout the facility, including labor and delivery, endoscopy, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology labs. The organization utilizes an iPad-based electronic medical record system and operates within a collaborative care team model that supports both physicians and CRNAs.
