Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia

Job Details:

• Provide anesthesia coverage in hospital operating rooms, endoscopy unit, cardiac lab, and ambulatory surgery center
• 
  
• Position is seeking 2-3 FTEs for an ongoing assignment
• 
  
• No call required for CRNAs; one CRNA in house for evenings, nights, and weekends
• 
  
• Position is supervised with MDs overseeing at a 1:4 ratio and 1:2 ratio for cardiac cases; must be able to function independently as the MD is not always in the room
• 
  
• Patient demographic includes adult, geriatric, and patients 16 and older
• 
  
• Support staff includes scrub techs, RN circulators, and anesthesia techs
• 
  
• Facility has 15 main operating rooms and 4 ambulatory surgery center rooms
• 
  
• Blocks are not required
• 
  
• Trauma Level 2 facility
• 
  
• EMR system: Epic
• 
  
• All travel will be reimbursed
• 
  
• Client will consider locum, locum to perm, and permanent candidates
• 
  
• Active New York State License required
• 
  
• NBCRNA certification required
