Practice Setting:
Medical Direction Model: The CRNA will work under a medical direction model, providing anesthesia care across various specialties, including cardiac, vascular, and neuro cases.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced and dynamic: Ideal for CRNAs comfortable with a broad scope of practice
Mid-day shifts, nights, weekends, and on-call availability required to meet patient needs
Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Responsibilities:
Clinical Expertise:
Perform anesthesia for a wide range of procedures, with a preference for those experienced in cardiac, vascular, and neuro cases
Ensure high-quality patient care, emphasizing safety and comfort throughout procedures
Work both independently and as part of a team, adapting to the needs of the unit
Floating Requirement:
Flexibility to float between different locations if necessary
Ability to handle varying caseloads and adapt to different work environments
Requirements:
Licensure and Certification:
Active and unrestricted North Carolina CRNA license required
Certification as a CRNA is mandatory
Additional certifications such as ACLS and BLS may be required during credentialing
Experience:
Prior experience in a medical direction model preferred
Expertise in cardiac, vascular, and neuro anesthesia is highly desirable
Ability to work mid-day shifts, nights, weekends, and take call if needed
Background Check:
Must have a clean background with no malpractice history
