Deliver high-quality patient care across a broad range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics General Surgery and high-volume GI suites along with off-site services. Enjoy a schedule designed for work-life balance with Monday-Friday 7am-5pm shifts including 8 and 10-hour options with no call weekends or holidays.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESAssesses plans evaluates and implements the anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care. Provides accurate medical record documentation. 45Provides continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care and corrects abnormal patient responses. Involves attending physician regarding plan of care and involves physician in clinical decision making of any issues that are outside the CRNAs knowledge base or scope of practice. 35Participates develops and implements performance andor quality improvement initiatives. 10Adheres to the legal and ethical standards of nursing and of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Follows appropriate safety standards and ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies. 5Acts as a clinical resource to interdisciplinary health care team. May serve as a mentor to new staff or students. 5Performs other duties as assigned or required.QUALIFICATIONSMinimumCurrent State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact eNLC.Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse AnesthetistsCPR - American Heart AssociationAct 34 Criminal Background Clearance CertificateAct 33 Child Abuse Clearance CertificateAct 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance CertificatePediatric Advanced Life Support PALS - American Heart Association.Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS - American Heart AssociationPreferredPrevious CRNA experienceDisclaimer The job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential duties and responsibilities of work performed by employees within this job title.
