We are seeking a CRNA to join a dynamic anesthesiology group, within a medically supervised practice that promotes CRNA autonomy;

Level II trauma center;

Opportunity for in-house locums;

Essential Functions

  • Practices current principles and practices of anesthesiology.
  • Maintains effective work relationship with anesthesiologist (supervisor).
  • Communicates and cooperates to adequately staff the anesthesia department.
  • Provides sound practices and safe therapeutic care.
  • Promotes safe working conditions for patient and self.
  • Demonstrates initiative for self development.
  • Accepts responsibility of tasks not delineated in job description.

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Skills Abilities

  • Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards.
  • Skill in taking medical history to assess medical conditions and interpret findings.

Requirements

  • Certificate as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Current Missouri Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license
  • Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 120 days
  • Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 180 days
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 120 days.  

Positions Available:

Day Shift

  • Opportunity to practice a wide variety of anesthetics and procedures including spinal, regional techniques, arterial lines, and central lines;
  • Cases include general, ortho, ENT, GU, OB/GYN, podiatry, robotics, GI and healthy PEDs;
  • Appealing day shift schedule: 6-week rotation (3 weeks of 10s, 3 weeks of 12s) with 1 weekend in each 6-week rotation

Competitive Salary

$80,000 Sign-on bonus/education stipend
