Summary: The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) whose primary function is to provide high quality, holistic, evidence-based anesthesia to the patient population including pediatric and adult patients. The CRNA practices in collaboration and under the medical direction of an Anesthesiologist. The CRNA assumes the care of patients at all acuity levels in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, diagnostic, emergency, and therapeutic.
Education: Graduate of an approved accredited school of Nurse Anesthesia; Masters of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
