Cross Categorical - Paid Student Internship (Fall Semester)

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate Special Education Intern working toward their Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Cross-Categorical Special Education License. This opportunity offers hands-on experience co-teaching, managing IEPs, and delivering specialized instruction in an inclusive, supportive public school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with licensed special education teachers to deliver tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs.

• Assist in writing, monitoring, and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral interventions.

• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families.

• Collect and analyze student progress data to guide instructional decisions.
