Job Description:
- Work with students to meet their educational and behavioral needs.
- Works directly with the general education teachers and support staff to provide services.
- Support student education goals, develop lesson plans that support classroom content standards in a resource setting while making good educational decisions for students
Job Requirements:
- A successful candidate will be self motivated, quick thinking, and compassionate and understand the needs of students.
- Create and implement Individualized Learning Plans, facilitate Annual Case Reviews and the ability to communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
- Must be organized and flexible
- Special Education licensure is preferred
Job Qualifications:
- Works well with others and a team player.
- Understands high school classroom requirements.
- Experience working with children with diverse needs.
- Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear a drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by Indiana state law.
