THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION - 3 Hours Daily (AM and PM)

This position requires helping students cross the street by directing traffic before and after school.

This is a temporary, part-time, hourly position with no benefits. For continued employment beyond the current school year, Crossing Guards must re-apply online each school year.

Pay: $17.40 per hour

HOURS: Will vary depending on school schedules. Crossing guards report in a.m. and in p.m. during arrival and dismissal times daily.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
• All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
• Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
