    Job Description

    Crossing Guard Shifts Available Mornings: Approximately 6:45 - 9:15 am Afternoons: Approximately 1:45 - 3:30 pm

    Responsibilities include:

    • Direct or escort pedestrians across streets, stopping traffic as necessary
    • Guide or control vehicular or pedestrian traffic at crossing areas
    • Communicate traffic and crossing rules and other information to students and adults
    • Model appropriate street skills and behavior for students
    • Reports to School Resource Officers and MPS Business Office
