    Cryptography Engineer

    Were seeking a future team member for the role of Cryptography Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team. This role is in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA.

    In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

    • Implement and support cryptography and Key Management Systems (KMS) solutions across the BNY Enterprise.
    • Build, integrate, and support a Cryptographic Asset Management Platform to enable the move to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to determine cryptography and keys use cases.
    • Build and Support HSM solutions.
    • Create architecture, system build, procedures, and knowledge articles documentation.
    • Respond to requests from users, Internal Audit, and Federal Regulators on BNY PKI.

    To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:

    • Bachelors degree in cybersecurity or related fields.

    • Certifications: CISSP.

    • 5+ years of experience installing and supporting cryptographic solutions.

    • Knowledge and hands-on experience with the following:

    • HSMs and Key Management Systems (KMS).

    • Cryptographic algorithms and key management.

    • Automation of cryptographic key services.

    • Must have experience with Thales product line- Thales HSM, Thales Ciphertrust.

    • Knowledge of the following:

    • Knowledge of Oracle key vault.

    • Quantum Computing and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).

    • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards (GDPR, DORA, NIST, and ISO 27001).

    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
