Crack Seal / Seal Coat Superintendent
Summary
The Superintendent oversees crack seal and seal coat crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role supports the Division Manager by coordinating daily operations, equipment readiness, and workforce performance while helping projects meet or exceed budget goals.
Essential Functions
- Enforce company and OSHA safety policies; report issues to management as needed
- Lead daily field operations and follow established procedures and training standards
- Ensure equipment and vehicles are inspected, maintained, and kept in professional condition
- Coordinate repairs and communicate equipment needs to the shop
- Train and mentor crew members on proper practices and job expectations

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Outdoor construction environment with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and weather extremes

- Full‑time position with varying hours
- Nights, weekends, and out‑of‑town/state travel as required
Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license with Medical DOT card (or ability to obtain)
- Must pass drug testing
