About the Agency
The mission of Specialized Treatment Facility (STF) is to promote and strengthen the mental health and the education of up to 48 adolescent males and females who are experiencing behavioral difficulties in their homes, schools, and communities. Employees are charged with the responsibility of furthering STF's mission by exhibiting the core values that are at its heart: Teamwork, Respect, Compassion, Integrity, and Safety. Specialized Treatment Facility employs milieu therapy as the foundation for the treatment of its residents. Milieu therapy is a planned treatment environment in which everyday events and interactions are therapeutically designed for the purpose of enhancing social skills and building confidence. This therapy uses common structures familiar to all children, such as daily routines, consistent rules and activities. Admin Support Team Leaders provide leadership and direction to the staff that they supervise in the Resident Living Department. About the Position
Resident Living Shift Supervisors are the second-level supervisory position accountable for the management of subordinate staff. Responsible for delegating assignments and assigning tasks. Also accountable for establishing and ensuring staff follow employee policies and procedures. Employee supervision includes hire interviews and recommendations; training; work planning, assignments, and review; and performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen. Responsibilities and Duties Resident Living Shift Supervisors follow policy and procedures and communicates with staff on the pods. Resident Living Shift Supervisors will conduct supervision with those staff in his/her pod and input clinical supervision online. Resident Living Shift Supervisors are responsible for assigning and completing all paperwork and reports as well as ensuring their staff complete in-services and online training to remain in compliance. Resident Living Shift Supervisors are responsible for recognizing possible danger in the environment and responding accordingly. They maintain appropriate staffing ratios throughout the shift, provide leadership for employees and assign daily job responsibilities, coach employees on appropriate interactions/professional boundaries with residents, provide documentation for employee discipline and improvement through progressive discipline and performance appraisals. Resident Living Shift Supervisors use Kronos to reconcile employee time records. Maintains certifications in MANDT, CPR and first aid as required by STF. Maintains a valid driver license and liability insurance to be a driver of a state vehicle. Order supplies for the pods as needed and input work orders to address issues within the pods. All STF employees are responsible for reading, understanding, and adhering to all policies, protocols, and memorandums. Universal Precautions and Infection Control policies must be adhered by all STF employees. Universal precautions were designed for doctors, nurses, patients, and healthcare workers who came into contact with patients and their bodily fluids. All healthcare workers are responsible for all aspects of care for the residents served at STF. Residential staff and Nurses must abide by standard precautions which applies to the care of all patients, irrespective of their disease state. These precautions apply when there is a risk of potential exposure to (1) blood; (2) all body fluids, secretions, and excretions, except sweat, regardless of whether or not they contain visible blood; (3) non-intact skin, and (4) mucous membranes. This includes hand hygiene and personal protective equipment (PPE), with hand hygiene being the single most important means to prevent transmission of disease. Personal protective equipment serves as a barrier to protect the skin, mucous membranes, airway, and clothing. It includes gowns, gloves, masks, and face shields or goggles.

Strong leadership inspires loyalty and dedication from employees, fostering a committed workforce. Strategic Decision-Making: The ability to analyze information, evaluate options, and make informed decisions is crucial. Managing directors must be decisive, confident in their judgment, and willing to take responsibility for their choices, even under pressure. Financial Acumen: A solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting and forecasting, is vital. Managing directors must make informed financial decisions that impact the organization's success and sustainability. Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires High School Diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years of experience. Hiring agency preferred qualifications: Requires at least 30 hours of successful college credit and 5-7 years of related experience, and 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
