About the Opportunity
About the Opportunity
Northeastern University Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships Program is a two-year experiential program designed to advance lifelong learning and the education and training of Pharm.D. graduates. A key element of the program's success is preparing Fellows to meet evolving workforce needs across various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry.
Fellows have the opportunity to work closely with our innovative biopharmaceutical industry partners, while engaging with Northeastern University faculty in professional and career development, teaching, service, and scholarly activities.
In partnership with Northeastern University, CSL Seqirus is offering a two-year Medical Affairs fellowship, based in Waltham, Massachusetts.
About CSL Seqirus
At CSL Seqirus, we are driven by just one goal - to lessen the severity and impact of influenza, which can reach epidemic or even pandemic proportions with life-threatening consequences. Every year our influenza vaccines help protect millions of people. We find solutions to big, complex, challenging problems, and we see the results in the world around us. Then we do it all over again the following year.
CSL Seqirus is one of the world's largest influenza vaccine companies. We were created when our parent company, CSL Limited, acquired the Novartis influenza vaccine business and combined its vaccine subsidiary, bioCSL.
The Medical Affairs fellow will assist across all pertinent areas of medical affairs within CSL Seqirus. The fellow will have rotations in medical information, publications, scientific communications, field-based US medical science liaison and will also have the opportunity to specialize in a preferred area of medical affairs for an elective rotation. The fellow will help the team to develop the strategy and implementation surrounding the collection, preparation, and dissemination of medical and scientific information on CSL Seqirus' products externally to health care providers, health care institutions, patients and their families, and internally to CSL Seqirus partners in multiple countries.
The fellow's portfolio will span all CSL Seqirus pipeline and marketed products in the region.
