CSP Tech I: High School Diploma or Equivalent
To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and in a team, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude. You should also be able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and prioritize a work schedule. Furthermore, you must be able to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner. Finally, you should be able to understand surgical and medical terminology.
CSP Tech II: Requirements and Responsibilities
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 1 year of experience or have completed a surgical technology or central sterile processing program with applicable certification. You are also required to deliver one in-service or participate in one special project per year under the guidance of the manager or directors. As a CSP Tech II, you should serve as a positive role model for students and other team members. You should also be able to troubleshoot routine problems with CSP equipment.
CSP Tech III: Certification and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following requirements:
• Be a graduate of a program for Surgical Technicians and hold Certification administered by the NBSTSA. • Complete an appropriate military training program for surgical technology. • Provide evidence of employment to practice surgical technology in a healthcare facility in SC prior to January 1, 2008. • Be in the service of the federal government, to the extent that the person is performing duties related to that service.
