Bilingual Client Service Representative, Outreach (English/Spanish)

 Pay: $20.00 per hour
  Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  Assignment Length: 3 Months, Full Time

We're looking for a compassionate, bilingual professional to join our team as a Client Service Representative, Outreach supporting California's Health Care Options (HCO) program.

 

In this rewarding role, you'll educate community members about their healthcare choices, assist with enrollment services, and represent the program at outreach events throughout Santa Clara County.

What You'll Do

As a Bilingual Client Service Representative, you'll serve as a trusted resource for individuals seeking information about their healthcare options.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct face-to-face community outreach, educational presentations, and enrollment assistance
  • Explain Managed Care Options and help beneficiaries understand their healthcare plans
  • Guide individuals through enrollment and disenrollment processes
  • Answering questions regarding medical exemptions and waiver requests
  • Provide enrollment status updates and assist with program navigation
  • Build positive relationships with county agencies, community organizations, and healthcare partners
  • Representing the program at community events, outreach activities, and health fairs
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Perform data entry and transmit enrollment information according to program guidelines
  • Assist with training and mentoring new team members when needed
  • Meet production, quality, and customer service expectations while maintaining compliance with all program requirements

 

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is:

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking
  • Friendly, professional, and passionate about helping others
  • Comfortable speaking one-on-one and presenting to groups
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Typing speed of 20+ words per minute
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid California driver's license
  • Current automobile insurance
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to travel throughout Santa Clara County and surrounding areas
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six months or more of customer service or human services experience
  • Experience working with diverse or underserved populations
  • Community outreach, public speaking, education, marketing, or presentation experience
  • Experience assisting individuals with healthcare, government, or social service programs

 

Physical Requirements

  • Sit or remain stationary for extended periods
  • Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Travel throughout the county for community outreach and presentations

 

Work Environment

  • Professional office environment
  • Regular travel throughout Santa Clara County and nearby communities
  • Community meetings, outreach events, and health fairs as needed
