Position Summary:
Sandium Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher to support our growing HVAC and Plumbing service teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly and professionally, and ensures our field technicians are efficiently dispatched to provide 5-star service.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch HVAC and plumbing technicians to service calls in a timely, efficient manner
Communicate with customers regarding appointment status, ETA updates, and service follow-ups
Prioritize incoming jobs based on urgency, location, and technician availability
Monitor technician routes and adjust scheduling as needed for optimal efficiency
Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and Field Managers to resolve scheduling issues or customer concerns
Maintain accurate job information in dispatching software (ServiceTitan experience a plus)
Follow standard operating procedures and escalate issues when necessary
Assist with after-hours or emergency call dispatching as required
Qualifications:
Previous dispatch, scheduling, or call center experience preferred (HVAC/Plumbing industry a plus)
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Calm under pressure with a proactive problem-solving mindset
Proficient with computers, scheduling software, and mobile communication tools
Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
