Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

CHASE Staffing is seeking an experienced Customer Service and Sales Support Representative for a growing distribution company in the Lithia Springs, Douglasville, and Powder Springs area.

This position supports the sales team and customers with product availability, order processing, pricing, shipping coordination, and delivery updates. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable managing phone calls, emails, orders, vendors, carriers, and multiple priorities throughout the day.

Industry Experience Required

Candidates must have recent customer service, order processing, sales support, or account management experience within a:

• Distribution company

• Manufacturing company

• Packaging, industrial products, or similar business-to-business environment

Call center, medical, fast-food, and retail experience will not qualify for this position. We are specifically seeking candidates who understand order fulfillment, inventory availability, shipping, vendors, carriers, and customer support in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist sales representatives and customers with product availability, pricing, freight costs, and estimated shipping dates

• Obtain and communicate current product and shipping costs

• Enter and process orders for stock and non-stock products

• Coordinate orders across multiple warehouse locations

• Determine and schedule cost-effective shipping methods

• Communicate with vendors, customers, warehouses, and freight carriers

• Track shipments and provide customers with delivery updates

• Assist with freight claims, delivery issues, and order discrepancies

• Maintain accurate customer, order, pricing, and shipping information

• Manage incoming phone calls and emails while processing orders

• File paperwork and maintain an organized workspace

• Provide professional, timely, and accurate customer service

Required Qualifications

• At least 2–4 years of recent, relevant experience in a distribution or manufacturing company

• Experience with customer service, sales support, order entry, or account management

• Strong understanding of order processing, product availability, and shipping coordination

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Ability to type approximately 60 words per minute

• Accurate 10-key/numeric data-entry skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask between phone calls, emails, order entry, and online vendor or carrier systems

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work in the office Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ERP systems; SAGE experience is a plus

• Experience with transportation management systems; MyCarrier is a plus

• Knowledge of freight, logistics, packaging, or industrial products

• Experience supporting multiple warehouses or distribution locations

• Associate degree or higher is a plus

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

• Ability to occasionally walk through a warehouse environment

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required

• No travel is required

This is an in-office position. It is not remote or hybrid.
