Bilingual Outreach Client Service Representative (English/Spanish)

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time Temporary (3 Months)

Local candidates who reside in Santa Clara County are strongly preferred due to travel requirements and to support long-term assignment stability.

Are you passionate about helping others access healthcare services? We are seeking a compassionate and outgoing 

 

Bilingual Outreach Client Service Representative (English/Spanish) to educate and assist community members with healthcare enrollment programs.

 

In this field-based role, you'll work directly with beneficiaries through one-on-one appointments, community presentations, and outreach events, helping individuals understand their healthcare options and successfully enroll in available programs.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PST)

 

What You'll Do

  • Conduct face-to-face outreach with individuals and community groups
  • Deliver presentations explaining available healthcare program options
  • Assist beneficiaries with enrollment and disenrollment processes
  • Provide guidance regarding healthcare plan selection
  • Answer questions related to medical exemptions, waivers, and enrollment status
  • Build positive relationships with county agencies, community organizations, and program partners
  • Participate in health fairs, outreach events, and community education programs
  • Complete enrollment documentation and data entry accurately
  • Maintain detailed records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Review program materials and recommend process improvements
  • Support training and mentoring of new team members when needed
  • Meet established productivity, quality, and customer service goals
  • Travel to assigned offices, community events, and outreach locations as directed

 

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Typing speed of 20+ words per minute
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six months or more of customer service, human services, or community outreach experience
  • Experience working with diverse or underserved populations
  • Public speaking, teaching, training, marketing, or community education experience
  • Experience presenting information to groups in an engaging and culturally appropriate manner

 

Driving Requirements

This position requires regular travel throughout Santa Clara County and surrounding areas.

Candidates must have:

  • Valid California driver's license
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Current automobile insurance
  • Ability to travel between assigned work locations and community events

 

Physical Requirements

  • Sit or stand for extended periods
  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Travel throughout the service area as needed
