Full-time temporary help is needed to assist in all phases of the peanut planting, growing, harvesting, shelling, weighing, and grading process to obtain accurate yield and grade data from each plot and plant selection while maintaining genetic purity.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position

High school diploma is preferred

Peanut research experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Ability to understand oral instructions and perform tasks given

Ability and willingness to work with existing technicians to carry out tasks requested on a timely basis

Ability to operate small FSIS grading equipment
